3 most Amazing CC / BB Cream

Hi! Everybody!

Today we will be taking about BB cream and CC cream.

What is BB cream?

BB cream was originally formulated in 1960s Germany by dermatologist Dr. Christine Schrammek. It became popular in Korea and East Asia. The BB stands for "Blemish Balm." When this product arrived to the USA, it was renamed "Beauty Balm," and the main goal of this product is to provide sun protection and other skin benefits, as well as anti-aging elements.

The formula varies by company and each market country's fashion trends. The 2 main trends are the Asia area, where the BB cream is thicker and with high level of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. In contrast, America's BB cream is more light weight, tinted, and moisturized for a sheer appearance.

What is CC Cream?

CC cream is basically a simple spin-off of BB Cream, but is for color correction. The CC stands for Color Correction. This type of cream normally provides skin brightening, evens out skin, dulls skin tone, and also gives sun protection.

In general, CC cream comes with different type of benefits like the BB cream: it is just about which benefits meet the specifics needs of each person.

Here is my experience for the following creams:

The Aveeno Positively Radiant CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Medium, Skin Color Correction: I ordered from Amazon which cost me $9.67. I did have experience with the moisturizer and it was a great experience; now with the added CC cream benefits I was sold! This is one of the creams for my face that I use often because it is very lightweight, soft, and has the perfect color combination, and finally, it is under $10 dollars. The natural coverage of this is light, but with additional application, you can achieve a darker tone as well.

After my experience with CC cream, I tried Burt's Bees BB Cream with SPF 15, Light. My color is Medium, and cost me $9.12. I was not sure about this BB cream initially. I had experience using the skin line and the lipstick which are nice and moisturized wonderfully. I did not experimence any rash or problems with this cream, and I have heard a few people complaining about the products, but so far I have nothing bad to report.

One day I run out of my favorite BB cream which is Lancôme BIENFAIT Teinté lightweight BB Cream SPF 30. I use the color sand which is the number 5. I went to the mall and i remember my sister in law told me about to try bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF 30.

So before stopping in Sephora, I stopped in the BareMinerals store and tried many different products. This cream was the closest item to my favorite brand and also the price was much lower than Lancome. The price normally is around $22-30, but sometimes you can use coupons or promo discounts. As far as application, this tinted gel works like any other foundation plus moisturizes the skin. It is for acne or rosacea affected skin, which is a key point for me.

Final thoughts : I still love the Lancome BB cream, but if you have regular skin without any skin condition, I would recommend Aveeno. If you have sensitive skin I would use Burt's, and if have skin problems with acne and super sensitive skin, I would recommend BareMinerals.
