Chanel Couture Fall-Winter 2017 - 2018
This show took place at the Grand Palais in Paris on July 4th, 2017.
This collection is for Fall-Winter 2017 / 2018. This collection is extremely influenced by the city of Paris; the weather, satin, hats, embroidery, and the feathers.
The main designer was Karl Lagerfeld. Karl Lagerfeld has had a long career as a designer, but worked as an apprentice with Pierre Balmain. The colors used were blue, gray, white, black and red.
The 83-year-old Lagerfeld was awarded with the Médaille Grand Vermeil de la Ville, by Paris's mayor Anne Hidalgo.
Many celebrities assisted this show: Cara Delevingne, Tilda Swinton, Katy Perry, and Kristen Stewart.
This collection possesses all the incredible craftsmanship of Chanel Couture: from the feather-making and coloring, the embroidery, the pleats, the boot-makers and the timeless tweet used in the collection.
